 I just spent the last 30 minutes hunting up Patient Assistance program information for my gran. Hopefully she'll be able to at least get reduced cost medication. Its amazing how if you die, your family can quite easily get fucked by the funeral industry and if you live you get fucked by healthcare. It almost seems that the longer you live the harder they fuck you. Meh.

Watched This Film is Not Yet Rated with LBC yesterday.  It felt similar* to the time LBC and I went to watch Farenheit 9/11.  Then I ended up watching Saving Grace** with my mom, I can see why it won an award at sundance. Saving Grace*** wouldn't play (and still won't) so I've got Mrs. Henderson Presents**** in right now. 

And tomorrow shall be a day of Kittens, Ham and Red Cabbage.  I shall not be eating the kitties but photographing them.


*I guess war and sex are very similar.

Shit, if the funeral industry really fuck with ya like that, I'm not foward to dying... And healthcare, ugh. No wonder I hate those hospital commercials with those fuckers saying they care SOO much for their patients and shit like that. Not that I'm dissing my mother, my sister and Penny, just those we see on commercials.

Saving Grace? I've seen that, and it was funny as hell. Especially seeing 2 old ladies getting high on the stuff after brewing it as tea! But the movie won't play? Shite!

I HATE those commercials, and the billboards, and the radio spots. Nah, its not so much our family members as its the actual doctors and nurses. Docs & nurses get fucking arrogant sometimes, and then try to say how much they love their patients.The thing is the hospital has a policy, if each region/section saves X amount of money they get a bonus of Y amount. Not saving lives, saving money; its an industry and we should treat it as such, not like the little demi-god it wants to be.Honestly I try to treat the healthcare industry like I do the pet industry, I'll smile and nod while you try to blow smoke up my skirt, but fuck you if you think I'll take everything you say at face value and not double check anything.

I loved the pot-tea scenes, Saving Grace played just fine it was Garden State that wouldn't play, I must have accidentally copy-pasted, apparently I got distracted by the naked. Whoo!
