ann_tigerDearest Brighthouse, as soon as I'm no longer living in a place where you are the sole allowed cable/phone/internet provider I'm switching back to fucking Verizon. In four years I've never had half the crappy service and downed 'net access with them, that you've given me in the last four months two days! With Verizon I had to set up my own DSL, I didn't have to go back and fix the crappy job that your "trained maintenance personnel" botched. Also, this on for a minute off for hours shit needs to stop, do you know when verizon goes out? When there is a category 3 hurricane directly overhead, because thats when everything goes out.

1. What word in the English language do you think holds the most power? Is it a word you use often? Why?
All of them, certain words have more shock value or impact, but its what you put behind the words that makes them powerful.
Now to actually answer the question, I'd have to say "they" and its variations. People are afraid of things they don't know much about, so its easy to split people into groups when you start talking about "us" vs. "them". Tiny differences can become vast chasms of misunderstanding because someone with an agenda started talking about "them" and "what they plan to do to us/our lifestyle." Go. Go. Gadget over-thinking the question!
2. If you had to pick a fictional reality to live in from now on, what reality would you choose? And if you could bring one other person or animal, who or what? Easy, Star Control 2: UQM, and I'd takelady_black_cat with me. Who wouldn't want to hang out with psychic hippy alien birds? Although I'd probably spend a lot of my time bugging the VUX.
3. What is one activity that never fails to put you at ease?
Rifling through my music collection. I think I'm at about 13Gigs right now. Some of it I've had for years, but quite a bit of it was stuff I stumbled across recently. XD I'm a music 'ho.
4. If you had a pair of wings, what would they look like? Would they be functional? If they would be attached to your back, how would you sleep or sit in chairs?
Hmm, I'd have to go with the classic bird wings, probably purple, and not very well preened(my cat would try to chew on the feathers). With the inconvenience factor I'd certainly hope they'd be functional! I wouldn't be able to slouch anymore, so at least I'd have better posture. Honestly, I'd probably be extremely careful about how I'd sit and what position I'd sleep in, and I'd still manage to hurt myself.

1. They'd be grackles! And I'd so not even be surprised. ;P Grackles are so aliens anyway, slowly taking over as we speak. But I'd probably giggle and run over to say hi.
2. A dragon, hands down. I like to daydream about it. :3
3. Hmmm... according to iTunes, "Have a Cigar" by Pink Floyd :) Great song, great band (one of my favorite).
4. My biggest pet peeve... probably whistling. I dunno why but I cannot stand hearing people whistle o_o Maybe it's because I can't whistle? I dunno!
5. The ability to fly :3 I have too many dreams about it to not totally want it.
