(no subject)

Kali is a very odd little kitty. I just switched one of their boxes from the pine stuff(which is only sold on the far end of town) back to the usual clay based litter. Kali immediately climbed in, but instead of doing her duty of never allowing the box to be clean for more than six consecutive seconds, she starts to play in it.

She'd stand with most of her weight on one front paw and splay the toes out on that foot, and when that foot was nearly buried she'd pick up that paw and bury the other. I watched her for nearly a minute, and I've never seen her do it before.

This is the same cat that fox-pounced on my foot when I wouldn't give her any of the chicken I was cooking earlier.
