I have an extra reason to not be on LJ tomorrow!
Apparently XP doesn't like the newest version of firefox, because I just spent three(possibly four) hours trying everything short of an orbital strike in the process of trying to get it to work.
I had to purge everything then reinstall. Since FF wouldn't even open I couldn't snag my faves that way, and the file that was supposed to contain my bookmarks didn't. So not only did I have to reinstall all of my add-ons(minus the blue theme that I utterly adored that I couldn't find anywhere), I also need to rebuild my bookmarks.
This is why I rarely try to optimize my computer's performance, it likes to reward me with hell.
